What to do if cashbox is not opening

If cashbox doesn’t open automatically after receipt printing, do the following:

  1. Make sure that you’re connecting cashbox to Epson TM-T20II, XP-Q260II or Sam4S Ellix 50DB which are set up for work.

  2. Check connection of cable with RJ-12 connector from cashbox to ticket printer.

  3. Run Poster app and enter employee PIN-code.

  4. Tap in the right upper corner and choose Devices.

  5. Choose printer from the list and turn on Cashbox switcher in Settings tab.

  6. Go to Stations tab and press Print test receipt.

  7. Press < Functions in left upper corner and choose Open cashbox.

💡 If you’ve plugged in cashbox according to instruction but it’s still not opening automatically, open it with key or manually on your POS. To make this tap in the upper right corner of your POS and tap Open cashbox.
